In short: Solution Architect with end-to-end experience of researching, designing, and implementing the most ideal IAM solution for a large energy company.

Purpose:

Provides role-based access control design leadership for the RBAC project, ensuring the solutions are customer focused, support business outcomes that are aligned with current and future Group IT technology and security standards and drive operational efficiency.

Key Accountabilities

· Strong experience of multiple IAM projects using any of the leading vendor products

* Capture the functional and non-functional requirements for an RBAC solution from key IT and Security teams

* Act as design authority for role-based access control design within approved IT architectural standards

* Lead the selection process for RBAC tools appropriate, working closely with Architecture teams, IT Operations and Security

* Lead the analysis of integration requirements for RBAC tool for key systems

* Lead the definition of functional Role Profiles and hierarchies

* Support and create high level technical designs referencing the architectural governance framework

* Support the estimation of full project costs during the design stage

* Translate business needs into RBAC technical solutions

* Validate functional and non-functional requirements in the design phases for new or changed services so they can be managed effectively and efficiently by the operational teams when transitioned into service

* Responsible for the creation and maintenance of IT Operations' architectural blueprints

* All aspects of Design compliance (Cyber, Privacy, Architecture and Regulatory)

* Operational viability and economics of Design

* Establish and maintain good relationships with internal business and IT stakeholders, technology partners and

3rd party suppliers

* Other relevant duties as requested

Technical specialities:

* Strong experience of multiple IAM projects using any of the leading vendor products

* ForgeRock, Okta, Ping

* Experience of AD unification and design

* Good understanding of LDAP, Directory server, SQL, and Database concepts

* Experience on standards such as SCIM, OAuth, OpenID Connect, XACML, REST

* Understanding of Web Application Security Architecture

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience required:

* Strong understanding of the IAM landscape

* Ability to develop innovative automated solutions to accelerate project delivery

* Ability to design structured and guided IAM processes for standardizing delivery activities

* Experience in developing, documenting, and maintaining architectural blueprints

* Excellent communication skills enabling interaction with all levels of the business and IT (including written and oral communication where appropriate) including proven report writing skills

* Strong technical knowledge with good interpersonal skills which can be demonstrated through the ability to understand and translate business requirements to produce effective user friendly and service orientated outcomes

* Experience of working with business and IT stakeholders and third parties

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving, and growing environment, with a diverse group of professionals

* Excellent time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

* Strong Requirements gathering and experience in conducting workshops in complex and large organisations

* End to end management of key strategic technical opportunities

* Build positive long-term senior relationships to help deliver with quality and pace
