Solutions Architect

Our client, who is a global corporation that operates in over ten different countries is seeking a Solutions Architect with capabilities in HLD design for digital / infrastructure related projects. The Solutions Architect will design a Greenfield API using close-to-real-time services using integration tools like RedHat within Azure reporting into the Head of IT / CIO. Our client is looking to pay a basic salary of £90,000 + 25% bonus to be based in London (1xPW) with excellent benefits.

Key responsibilities:

Produce high level solutions designs which meet business objectives and requirements for specific projects
Produce low level solutions designs on specific projects, and review designs produced by our client's partners, ensuring alignment to policies and standards
Partner with business and technology subject-matter experts to elicit and translate business requirements into technology solutions
Partner with other architects and colleagues in Information Technology to provide a consensus based scalable and adaptable architectural solution
Contribute to policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure that a consistent framework is applied across the company
Contribute to strategic roadmaps covering the overall enterprise and departmentally when called on
Work towards building a business-wide data strategy presenting one version of truth
Work with 3rd party technical resources to assist in delivery of technical solutions
Work with IT Management Team to continually improve technology delivery into the organisation
Remain pragmatic in approach – apply appropriate levels of formal architecture approaches but recognising pace of change and value
Knowledge and skills required

Demonstrated experience with business process and technology modelling
Experience building technical architectures and designs
Experience in building & marshalling data governance and IT principles and policies
Experience designing, integrating, and managing complex solutions spanning multiple domains, including networking and infrastructure
Experience in API design and use including large scale, close-to-real-time services using integration tools like RedHat Integration (nice to have)
Appreciation of data modelling, reporting and data warehouse best practices
Experience in Cloud solution design, ideally Azure & Salesforce (nice to have)
Strong project management and organisational skills
Demonstrated ability to build consensus among many stakeholders
Minimum 5 years' experience in solution architecture or design, preferably in the retail or property domains
Technical background and problem-solving mind-set.
Can multitask between different projects, domains and methodologies (agile)
Package:

Up to a £90,000 base salary
25% bonus package
