SQL Data Engineer / SQL Developer / SQL Engineer / SSIS Developer / ETL Developer / ETL Engineer / MS BI Developer / Azure SQL Engineer / Azure Data Engineer – City Of London (Flexible for Remote Working)

-Providing cutting edge system for 9000+ companies, investors and 1000 cities for them to use data and insights to manage their environmental impacts and make financial decisions on $100 trillion assets;
-Working with most comprehensive collection of self-reported environmental data across the world
They are looking for a SQL Developer/ETL Developer to join their Data Engineering team to improve the usability of their climate change research data:
-Creating data pipeline using core SQL competencies SSIS, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, ETL for reporting and data science modelling;
-Help migrating from MS SQL server to Azure Cloud;
-Implementing data flows for analytics and BI systems and re-engineering data flows;
-Collaborating with data architects and scientists and using Azure data tools (Azure SQL, Data Factory & Data Bricks) to build their centralised data platform;
-Working closely with stakeholders/business management to gather data requirements;
-Developing, constructing, testing and maintaining architectures such as data pipelines and large-scale data processing warehouses
Requirements:
-Strong working experience in core SQL such as SSIS, T-SQL, store procedures and ETL;
-Experience in Azure SQL and Azure Data Factory;
-Strong communications skills and attention to details;
-General interest in climate change and environment protection is a big plus
It's a permanent position paying £60k to £65k base salary (37.5 hours per week) plus up to 10% annual bonus, 30 days annual leave (plus all bank holidays), flexible working opportunity/remote working, 8% non-contributory pension, life insurance, etc
