The Structural Engineer will workign within a supportive and welcoming team, the role will require you to produce efficient, high-quality technical designs for both new build and refurbishment projects in a wide range of sectors. You will need to be enthusiastic, hard-working and looking to take on responsibility.

Structural Engineer Position Overview

Taking control of projects
Ensuring quality of technical output
Attending meetings
Prepare design calculations and drawings
Support senior engineers in carrying out the project design from commencement to completion
Establish yourself as a key contact with other consultants and partners
Carry out thorough site investigations, complete inspections, identify issues and solve
Manage CAD Technicians and produce designs in a wide range of materials
Work towards your chartership with the support of your mentor and colleagues regularly and systematically
Liaise with client's office and site staff to deal with technical queries
Prepare hand calculations

Structural Engineer Position Requirements

Masters in Structural Engineering
4+ years structural engineering experience
Confident communicator, able to explain engineering concepts clearly and simply
Passionate about continuous learning and technical excellence
Strong interest in architecture and the relationship between structural engineering and architectural design
Committed to sustainability and reducing embodied carbon through design
Committed to achieving chartership

Salary DOE
23 days holiday + BH + Christmas and New Year shut down
