Are you an experienced Learning Support Practitioner, 1:1 Support Specialist, or SEN Teaching Assistant? Are you an individual with a knowledge & interest in Autism within an Educational setting?

Pertemps Education are currently working in partnership with an outstanding specialist Primary school based in Hornchurch. You will be required to work on a 1:1 basis with pupils displaying challenging behaviour. You will need to start immediately or after the Easter break and be available full-time.
The school are part of a larger multi-academy trust and are also a National Teaching School. The school offers good progression opportunities and great internal courses for development. With good results, the school aims to foster the children’s love of learning with their bespoke curriculum.

We are looking for a candidate who:
– Can start as soon as possible (only if you hold an active DBS) /  April/ May2023)
– Confident at dealing with Autism & Complex Needs on a 1:1 & classroom level
– Has practical and theoretical knowledge of understanding autism in a classroom and interpersonal setting 
– DBS Enhanced Certificate (Update Service)
– Available to attend an Interview & Classroom Observation by the end of April
– Has 2 recent references that can be contacted for vetting
