Tempest Education are recruiting teaching assistants with or without experience. We offer free training and preparation before placements with our partnered school/s.

Overview of role / expectations:

Classroom based support to young people
Adapting lessons / activities to cater to different abilities and SEN
Supporting the class teacher/s
Supervision of students
Creating a safe and engaging learning environment
Providing support to vulnerable young people
Observing and implementing strategies to encourage positive peer interactions
Using educational resources to engage students
Adhere to safeguarding policies
Be committed, kind, adaptable, punctual and reliable

You will also be required to provide proof of specific documentation e.g. Right to work

We are also looking for Teachers – Qualified with QTS or QTLS and unqualified teachers who would be interested in flexible work.

We offer £250 per referral should you know any friends or family looking for a career change or local job working with young people
