Job Description
IT Support Technician – Hammersmith – £30,000 – £35,000
My client is seeking an ambitious and motivated IT Support Technician to join their esteemed, long-standing institution. Someone who has good 1st, 2nd some 3rd line helpdesk support experience and wants to advance into a more senior role would be the perfect candidate. The successful candidate will work in a large organisation with beautiful surroundings, great training opportunities an exciting progression path.
Day to day duties?
1st / 2nd line Support (Both projects and helpdesk)
Some networking and infrastructure support
To locate and fix network and connectivity problems.
To use Active Directory to keep track of all in-person support requests, including those for password resets, account changes, and deletions.
What technologies will you be exposed to?
GSuite / Google Workspace
VMWare / vCenter
Windows Servers
Microsoft Azure Active Directory and Exchange Online
Experience of building, configuring, and supporting desktop PC's, laptops, printers, and scanners
Networking – DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VLANs, switching, WAN.
