Van Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

£48K per annum & vehicle, optional overtime & package

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established and very reputable HVAC technical specialist based in the Southeast. In recent years, my client has experienced growth in a new sector within the industry which has created a number of new career opportunities.

Core duties of the Mechanical Engineer included are:

To carry out planned maintenance within plant room areas

Responding to reactive call outs and attending site to fix

Mechanical duties: pump overhauls, valve, and pipework repairs, cooling tower testing, vibration analysis, fixing leaks, HIU servicing, belt, and pully alinement checks, fault finding, chiller and boiler checks, water treatment/temperature monitoring, and constantly look for ways to reduce the

Servicing AHU's, FCU's, HIU's, chillers, pumps, inverters, cooling towers, adiabatic coolers, underfloor heating, pipework, and a good working knowledge of all other M&E & HVAC

Good understanding of L8/Legionella

Be a good problem solver and ability to fault find and rectify.

The Package For The MECHANICAL Engineer Includes:

Up to £48,000 depending on experience.

Excellent on-call rates of pay (approx. 1/7 weeks)

Hours of work: 08:00 till 17:00 Monday to Friday

You will need to be able to demonstrate high level of craftmanship, knowledge, be able to work alone on a wide range of equipment as well as being able to supervise others when needed. An eye for detail and quality is important to ensure they deliver the best for their client.
