Exciting opportunity for a highly ambitious graduate keen to pursue a career within b2b events!
There are two parts to the role: identify and recruit the most exciting new start-ups in the industry to participate in our client’s events; and, identifying and recruiting VIP attendees (customers who attend for free, because of their position at the top of the industry value chain).
It’s an easy sell: start-ups get a small display space plus two passes to their event for free. The benefit to our client is a much more exciting event, and they become the sponsors of the future.
The key activity is contacting people who would benefit from attending the event, qualifying them and registering them to attend.
The successful candidate will need to be ambitious, driven, and tenacious in order to achieve targets. You will need to use your own initiative and internet research to source your own data and new business, as well as using our own. You will need to be confident enough to call the world’s largest and most significant companies.
The role will suit someone at the start of their career who is interested in pursuing a career in events and offers potential for advancement into different areas of the business such as production, sales, or marketing. The successful candidate will need to be ambitious, driven, and tenacious in order to achieve targets and deliver the project successfully.
You will need to be articulate and a good communicator who is comfortable engaging with senior individuals by email and over the phone.
