We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our warehouse team in Romford as a Warehouse Operative & Van Driver, Uk drivers licence essential.

Working hours:
Low season : Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
High season: Monday to Saturday (Saturdays 7am to 1pm)
Wage:
£10.50 to £11.77

Driver duties:

transfer stock between Site 1 & 2
check pallet paperwork corresponds with goodsWarehouse duties:

Receive goods at the loading/receiving dock
Store received goods in the appropriate locations within the warehouse
Check loads for damaged or missing items upon receipt
Move and rearrange stock, either by hand or with heavy lifting equipment
Keep careful records of everything that comes in and goes out of the warehouse
Clean the space and ensure that goods don’t get damaged
Work with a team and support the team when needed
Ensure delivery of materials to production lines in accordance with production standards
Keep accurate stock records
Carry out stock counts as and when required
Keep paperwork up to date
Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures
Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others
Handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner
